He is survived by: his wife Josefina Ruiz; his children, Ana Delia, Nancy, Rosa Haydee (Andres), Migdalia (Alex), Efrain Jr. (Wanda) and Jose Luis (Sonia); and his grandchildren, Alberto, Michelle, Leticia, Judy, Alex, Daniel, Eleazar, Samuel, Abigail, Anais, Angeli, Jasmine, Kayla, Lil Ray, Karina, Hannah and Jeremiah.
