She was predeceased by : her husband Leroy Broussard; her parents, Gabriel Abatte and Stella Karlagon Abatte; her son Rev. Darrel John Singleton, Sr.; her grandsons, Darrel John Singleton, Jr. and Christopher George; and her siblings, Lucille Abatte Auzenne, Stella Abatte, Delton Abatte, Lionel Abatte, Raymond Abatte, Stanley Abatte and Santney Abatte.

She is survived by : her children, Shirley George of Katy, TX and Rogers Singleton (Jean) of Oakdale, LA. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, thirty-eight great-grandchildren, eighteen nieces, eighteen nephews; a host of other relatives, and friends.
