We announce the death of Jacob J. Walla of Katy, Texas, who passed away on July 26, 2026, at the age of 93. Jacob will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerome Walla and Lillie Bell Walla (Koehl); his wife Vicki Walla; and his children, Joseph "Joey" Walla and Rebecca "Becky" Walla Hill.
He is survived by: his children, Laura "Laurie" Walla of Houston and Rusty Walla (Shannon) of Galveston; his grandchildren, Taylor Walla, Nathan Walla, Reagan Walla (Elizabeth), Matthew Walla (Analise), Glen Hill and Lauran Lash; his great grandchildren, Ryan "Bunny" Walla, William Walla, Rebecca Hill and Logan Hill; and his close friend Lucille Tobias.
