He is survived by: his mother Ellen Giddings; his wife Susan; his sons, James Jr., Cassius and Vincent; and his siblings, Cynthia Stewart, Kathy Crear (Michael), Cherry Gonzales (Johnny), Carolyn Coleman, Chantal Giddings, Michael Giddings (Gina), Darryl Sledge (Ann) and Clifton Hopwood.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the South Union Missionary Baptist Church (1313 Waites St, Marlin, TX 76661). Viewing will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM and at 2:30 PM at the same location.
