It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Horton in Katy, Texas, who passed away on January 1, 2026, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Basil and Agnes; and his siblings, Jim and Betty. He is survived by: his wife Janet Andrews; his daughters, Suzi, Lisa and Christy; his sons-in-law, Nabil, Jason and Pat; and his grandchildren, Jessi, Mason, Morgan and Brody.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to local charities, honoring Jack's lifelong spirit of giving.
