He was predeceased by: his parents, Ann Blanton Spence and Kenneth Lee Spence. He is survived by: his wife Gayle Spence; his daughter Monika Leigh Warren (James Patrick Warren); his granddaughter Evelyn; his son Erik James Spence (Susanna Spence); his grandchildren, Chloe and Evan; his great grandchild Lauren Wood (Conor Izzett); his granddaughter Fiona; his siblings, John Spence and Sue Courtney (Ron Courtney); and his mother-in-law Lois Demel.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, January 8th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Church of the Holy Apostles (1225 W Grand Pkwy S, Katy, TX 77494). A reception will be held on Thursday, January 8th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
