With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Kyuin Yi of Katy, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 4, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Kyu-Seng Yi, Kyu-Sook Yi and Kyu-Soon Yi. He is survived by: his wife Bong-Hui Yi; his children, Katherine Chonghui Moon (Je-Hong Moon), Maggie Kyonghui Bae (Steve Changkee Bae), James Sonho Yi and Matthew Chuho Yi (Claudia Huijong Yi); and his grandchildren, Justin Taesik Moon, Jennifer Haesun Moon, Andrew Saejin Bae, William Hanjin Bae, Emily Yehjin Bae, Toby Jeesang Yi, Noah Jeemin Yi and Jonah Jeehan Yi. He is also survived by son to his parents, a good husband to his wife, a good father to his children, and a good grandfather to his grandchildren.
