Vira Joan Sternberg Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vira Joan Sternberg of Katy, Texas, who passed away on October 1, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Thompson and Lettie Thompson; her sisters, Clara, Shirley and Mary; and her son Tom Sternberg.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Froman (Scott), James H Sternberg (Brenda) and Chuck Sternberg (Ken); her grandchildren, Casey Krenek (Wesley), Chris Sternberg (Brooksie) and Matt Sternberg; and her great grandchildren, Avery and Sophia.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and on Saturday, November 14th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Katy Funeral Home (23350 Kingsland Blvd, Katy, TX 77494). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
