He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert Adams and Willie Pearl Adams; and his brothers, Jimmy, Sammy, Johnnie, Frank and Delbert Adams.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah Adams; his sister Ruby Wilkerson; his children, Kay Carpenter (Rick), Pam Flowers (Will), Don Adams (Jackie) and Bobby Adams (Evelyn); his grandchildren, Tiffany Carpenter, Heather Taylor (Brandon), Dylan Adams and Jenny Wagoner; and his great grandchildren, Brenden Carpenter, Peyton Ragland, Liam Taylor, Hadley Taylor and Emerson Taylor. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
