He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Stoy and Pauline Stoy; his sister Peggy Embry; and his brother-in-law Fred Heath. He is survived by: his wife WillAnn Stoy; his children, Greg Stoy (Regina), Gina McKinney (Wade) and Daniel Stoy (Michele); his grandchildren, William Stoy (Sarah), Sara McLaughlin (Matt), Taylor Stoy, Kathryn McKinney, Laura, Emma Stoy and Kate Stoy; his great grandchildren, Carter McLaughlin, Claire McLaughlin, Lilah Grace Stoy, Henry Stoy, Tucker McLaughlin, Hallie Helzer and Tessa Helzer; and his siblings, Billie Heath and Allen Stoy (Winnie). He is also survived by extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Parker - Ashworth Funeral Home (2217 S Washington St, Kaufman, TX 75142). A celebration of life was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lovvorn Hall at First Baptist Dallas Get (1935 San Jacinto St, Dallas, TX 75201).
