We bid farewell to Lu Ann Darnell (Kaufman, Texas), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 16, 2025 at the age of 87. Lu Ann touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Lu Ann may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerome Honeywell and Lucille Honeywell; and her husband Bill Darnell. She is survived by: her sister Jeri McClure; and her daughters, Becky Gosnell (Harold), Debby Moore and Cathy Garza (Lorenzo). She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers mom would like donations to be made either to First Baptist Church in Rosser or the Kaufman County Pet Adoption Center in Kaufman.
