He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd O. King and Caroline Rose King. He is survived by: his siblings, Carole Carlson of The Woodlands, Bill King of Houston and Jeff King of Colorado; his wife Kathie; and his children, Brooke, Nicholas and Tara King Freeman (Michael).
