He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Bishop and Vera Bishop; his brother-in-law Laurence; his brother Dwight; and his brother-in-law Stanley.

He is survived by: his wife Barbra; his sister Euna; his sister-in-law Linda; his children, Cathy (Jason) and Ronnie (Wei); and his grandsons, Eric (Lori), Blake (Jennifer), Kevin and Garrett. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren; and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
