John Derek Anderson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Derek Anderson in Keller, Texas, born in Skagway, Alaska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 2, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Lee "Barney" Anderson and Emma Lucille Stephenson; and his sisters, Patricia Anderson-Poppe and Suellen Anderson-Hahn. He is survived by: his daughter Janene Anderson-Walton; his son-in-law Steven Walton; his granddaughters, Rachel Schoenborn-Varela (Tristan) and Allison Schoenborn-Lauwers (Colton); his great grandchildren, Emery Valera, Isla Daly, Sutton Varela and Luka Lauwers; his brothers, Mike Anderson and Jim Anderson (Carol); and his former wives, Carolyn Jean Peterson-Anderson and Patricia Jean Shute. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research or to your local Humane Society, SPCA, or another animal rescue group.
