He was predeceased by: his parents, Russ Malzahn and Betty Malzahn; and his sister Karen Spann. He is survived by: his wife Ellen Malzahn; his daughter Sheri Luedemann (Bart); his grandchildren, Corey, Joci and Callie; his daughter Stephanie Lockingen (Aric); his grandchildren, Abigail and Adam; his sisters, Lorraine Reiter (Fred) and Donna Meilink (Simon); and his brother-in-law Robert Spann.
