With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Samuel Jefferson Hawthorne Gilbert (Keller, Texas), born in Hermitage, Tennessee, who passed away on December 23, 2019 at the age of 20. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his parents, Chris Gilbert and Julie Ann Church Gilbert; his stepmother Dawn Gilbert of Keller; his sister Piper Gilbert of Keller; his grandparents, Niley, Marilyn Church of Wichita Falls and Sandra Rhine of Burkburnett; and his aunts, Shelli Gossett, Shalae Mays and Candra Gilbert Solid. He is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ducks Unlimited and the Shriners Children's Hospital burn unit.
