He is survived by: his wife Barbara Snelson Cox; his children, Robert (Sonya Selivanoff Cox) of Santa Rosa, CA, Michael (Jill Kahlich Cox) of Cary, NC and Cheryl Cox Nifong (Richard); his sister Linda Ruth Loyd (Charles) of Denham Springs, LA; and his grandchildren, Casey Michael, Naomi Cox, Trinity and Zoey Nifong. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
