He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Lois Piper; his parents, Joe Piper and Oveta Piper; his siblings, Lois, Molly Hilliard of Fort Worth, Jane Finch of Albuquerque and Burke Piper of Eagle Nest; his siblings-in-law, Helen Davis of Las Cruces and Bob Ritchie of Melbourne, Australia.; his daughter Leigh Piper; his son-in-law Timothy Martin; his grandchildren, Justin and Jordan Martin; and his daughter Lori Piper. He was also cherished by five great-grandchildren.
