He was predeceased by: his parents, John Calvin and Florence Evelyn Smith Cox; and his wife Kay LaMoine Allen. He is survived by: his sons, Jimmy Lynn Cox (Karol) of Troy and Bruce Calvin Cox (Yvonne) of Killeen; his grandchildren, Bruce Cox, Jr., Rachel Richardson (Andrew), Kayla Jones (Mark), Kayci Bales (Joel) and Rylan Cox; his great grandchildren, Ethen Scruggs (Lindsey), Atleigh Traw (Brandon), Lexee Marez, Megan Richardson, Zenlie Richardson, Lachlyn Richardson, Kobe Jones, Dylan Jones, Ryker Morua, Raider Morua, Jax Jones, Jentry Jones, Royce Kramer and Brayde Bales; his great great grandchildren, Sage Bratcher and Salem Bratcher; his nephew Chris Craig (Konnie); his great-niece Caitlyn Craig; and his sister-in-law Jackie Craig.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Smith Cemetery (975 Co Rd 4700, Kempner, TX 76539).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that memorials be made in Lynn's honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
