He was predeceased by : his parents, W. E. Murphy and Eula Murphy; and his wife Lora Virginia. He is survived by : his son Mike Murphy (Susan); his grandchildren, Brian Rayburn (Sarah), Brent Murphy (Sally), Lance Murphy (Jill) and Britanny Rayburn; and his nieces and nephews, Bill Boyd, James Boyd, Elaine Henry and Ginger Harvey.
