It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alfredo Cortez Sr. of Kenedy, Texas, who passed away on January 22, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Carlos Cortez, Sr. and Estella Salinas Cortez; and his siblings, Maria Louisa Cortez, Maria Alicia Cortez, Eduviles "Vic" Cortez and Oscar Cortez.

He is survived by : his wife Rosa Cortez; his children, Alfredo Cortez, Jr. (Mariel), Alice Dennis (Michael) and Amanda Martin (Joshua); his grandchildren, Tyler Dennis, Amber Martin, Ashley Martin, Taylor Cortez and Bella Cortez; and his siblings, Carlos Cortez, Jr. (Maria Elena) and Gloria Cortez.
