He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Ponish and Cleo Rogers Ponish; his wife Doris Jane Ponish; his daughter Dawn Ponish; and his siblings, Gale Ponish and Lynn Ponish.
He is survived by: his daughter Terry Jo Foreman (Kevin) of Boerne; his grandsons, Brandon, Tyler and Keeton Foreman; his brother Dr Howard Ponish (Lorraine) of Uvalde; and his sister-in-law Betty Ponish of San Marcos. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
