She was predeceased by : her parents, Herbert DeDear and Carmen Botello DeDear; her son Jason Eric Leal; and her siblings, Rosie R. Salinas, Tomasita Cantu Abila and Robert DeDear.
She is survived by : her children, Christopher Leal (Gloria) of Helotes and Jessica Leal Campos (Ricardo) of Helotes; and her sister Jo Ann Bennett of Kenedy. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 9 Great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
