He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Samuel and Bertha Samuel (Sharp); and his brothers, Bill, Bob, Floyd and James.
He is survived by: his son Allen Samuel of Justiceburg Tx; his daughter-in-law Katy Samuel; his daughter Jan McFarland (Samuel); his son-in-law Mike McFarland of Joshua; and his grandchildren, Carmen Samuel Austin, O'Brien McDonald, Deidra McDonald Ruchaber, Brad Durham, Laci Durham, Joshua Moore, Dwain McFarland, Jim McFarland and Lauren McFarland. He is also survived by 23 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
