He is survived by: his wife Genoveva Ruiz Rey of Kermit, TX.; his children, Alfredo Gardea of Kermit, TX., Carlos Gardea of Kermit, TX., Efren Gardea of Kermit, TX., Gustavo Gardea (Yesenia) of Midland, TX., Dolores Gardea of Kermit, TX., Raquel Ramirez (Manuel) of Odessa, TX., Angela Salasar (Jose) of Liberal, KS., Guadalupe Franco (Francisco) of Andrews, TX. and Isabel Gardea of Andrews, TX.; and his grandchildren, Sonia, Miriam, Yesenia, Jaquline, Neri, Alfredo, Gustavo Jr., Justin, Auden, Iraly, Jasmin, Astry, Isidoro, Leeroy, Jovita, Daena, Evelyn, Ruth, Karla, Mariela, Javier, Nora Elia, Ruben Jr., Genoveva and Barbara. He is also survived by 52 great grandchildren.
