Gibson, II and Harriet Wood Gibson of Kermit; his former life partner Susan Gibson Mueller; his children, Joseph (IV) and Jennifer Gibson Hebert (Joseph Michael Hebert) of Salinas, CA.; his wife Rhonda K. Gibson of Odessa; the mother of his children Susan Gibson Mueller; his grandchildren, Madison Gibson Pogue (Connor Pogue) of Houston, Joseph of Houston and Olivia Grace Gibson of Houston; his brother David H. Gibson (Fran Gibson) of Austin; his cousins, Jane Boles (Burnace Boles) of Still Pond and Dr. Melissa McIntire Sherrod (Michael Sherrod) of Fort Worth; his niece Dr. Madeline Scofield (David Scofield); and his nephews, Jeffrey Boles, Colin Sherrod (Heather Sherrod) and Nicolas Sherrod.
