He is survived by: his son Bryson Angelo Almedina; his mother Janette Lopez; his sister Ericka Roque; his grandfather Miguel Angel Lopez; his niece Emma Anelise Gonzalez-Roque; his nephew Easton Alexander Hernandez-Roque; and his siblings, Martin Gavilanes Jr., Erick, Camila, Cruz, Rene Pichardo, Alana, Andrea Montes Y and Martinez of Puerto Rico. He is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Rose Garden Funeral Home (2102 US-83, Zapata, TX 78076). A rosary was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church (1610 Hidalgo Blvd, Zapata, TX 78076).
