He was predeceased by: his parents, William Harvey (Bill) and Ruth Balcom; his brothers-in-law, Steve McFerran and Randy Mumme; and his parents-in-law, Tommy and Carol Randle.
He is survived by: his wife Tommie Balcom; his children, Jake Balcom, Hadley Potts, Andy, Morgan Balcom, Adrienne and Jay Rowland; his sisters, Claire McFerran, Becky (Dana Griffin) and Margaret (Richey Cutrer); his siblings-in-law, Lynne Mumme, Steve Randle, Mark and Robin Randle; and his pets, Eightball and Speck. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
