With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Arthur Lee Mumphrey Sr. of Kilgore, Texas, who passed away on April 12, 2022 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Milam Mumphrey and Ledora Greenleaf Mumphrey; his wife Cleo Mumphrey; his stepmother Ada Lee Watts Mumphrey; and his siblings, Joe Lewis Mumphrey Jr., Willie L. Mumphrey, Mac D. Mumphrey, Verdell Tryon and Eloise Mumphrey.

He is survived by: his children, Jean Mumphrey of Longview, Barbara Mumphrey of Dallas, Diane Hawkins (Rochaun) of Longview, Natashia Russell of Kilgore, Texas, Alonzo Mumphrey of Kilgore, Arthur L. Mumphrey Jr. of Kilgore and Kevin Mumphrey (Zhenya) of Boca Raton, Florida; and his sisters-in-law, Margaret Buard and Irish Gail Williams of Dallas, Texas. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.
