We are sad to announce that on December 22, 2022, at the age of 92, Edwin Slayter of Kilgore, Texas, born in Luling, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William M. Slayter and Thelma Bennett Slayter; his wives, Billie Slayter and Janis Slayter; and his siblings, W. W Slayter and Genevieve Libby.
He is survived by: his children, Candy Waller (Gordon) of Plano, Craig Slayter (Kim) of Kilgore, Karen Norton (Philip) of Flint and Shelley Carrington (Joe) of White Oak; his grandchildren, Ethan Waller, Noah Waller, Seth Waller, Colton Slayter (Aleah), Coby Slayter, Katie Slayter, Kallie Slayter, Brittany Kreft (Casey), William Norton (Leigha), Aaron Norton, Travis Carrington (Brian) and Brent Carrington (Andrea); and his great grandchildren, Charlie Slayter, Teagan Slayter, Drite Kreft and Bodin Kreft.
