It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John A. McComic of Kilgore, Texas, born in Dallas, Texas, who passed away on April 11, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, John Byron and Barbara McComic; his wife Carolyn Dee "Dee Dee" Cleary; his daughters, Sasha Posey (Rusty) and Alesha Osteen (James); his grandchildren, Madelyn, Mackenzie Posey, McKenna Merle and Cooper Osteen; his brother Jimmy McComic (Nancy); and his sister-in-law Billie Phillips (Larry).

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home (401 N Martin St, Kilgore, TX 75662). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
