He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Scott Self (Danielle) and Kristy Couch (Bryan); his grandchildren, Hunter Self, Richard Self, Jordyn Gonzales (Coy), Blake Couch, Halie Jones (Bryar) and Rikki Couch; his children, Hunter, Richard and Tammy Vining; his great grandchildren, Lendyn Self, Trace Gonzales and Teagan Gonzales; his siblings, Marie Cafagna (Ron), Joyce Tilghman, Patsy Self and Charles Self; his siblings-in-law, Walter Tilghman and Linda Self; and his great grandchild Rylan Self.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rader Funeral Home (401 N Martin St, Kilgore, TX 75662). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Danville Cemetery (200 Memorial St, Kilgore, TX 75662).
