He is survived by: his wife Donnette Metcalf Davis; his children, Charles "Chuck" Davis Jr., Tonya Davis Mazingo (Bruce), Teresa Renee "Nay-Nay" Hawes (Troy), Angela Karen Brewer of Mississippi, Curtis A. White (Amy), Shawn Moore and Cory Jo Davis of Texas; and his sisters, Martha Davis (Larry) of Mississippi and Katherine Webb of California. He is also survived by Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
