He was predeceased by: his parents, J. B. Griffin and Merle Mitchem; his wife Phyllis Brown; his son Clinton Griffin Jr.; his grandson Karl Griffin; and his siblings, Carl, Joe of Homer, J. B., Ann, Ruth, Lila and Patsy.
He is survived by: his son Richard Griffin; his daughter-in-law Debbie Griffin; his grandchildren, Katryna Fahlgren (John), Jesse Hatfield (Ricky), Jake Griffin (Analyce), Beau Hilbert (Val) and Taylor Lucus (Kalon); his sister Judy Hodges (Mark); and his daughter-in-law Stephanie Griffin. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
