She was predeceased by : her parents, Dewey Tripp and Fairy Mae Tripp; her siblings, Ruby Gwendolyn, Dewey Jr., Byrd, Charles and Billy; and her son Reginald Smith.

She is survived by : her siblings, Rudolph Tripp and Pothenia Brown; her children, Derrick Smith and Pamela Washington; and her grandchildren, Alexis, Isiaha, Caleb, Gabriel, London, Jimmy, Paris, Cordele, Xavier, Xoe, Kyla, Elijah, Flavio, Yaritza, Anthony and Marquette. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Heritage Oaks Mortuary (2502 S WW White Rd, San Antonio, TX 78222). A prayer was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
