With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Emanuel O Godwin (Killeen, Texas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 18, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Emanuel may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillip Godwin and Elizabeth Yon Godwin; his wife Leita Godwin; his son Ryan Godwin (Randy); his granddaughter Tammy William; and his great great grandchild Caleb Godwin Icmat.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lynn, Jeanie and Cathy. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 12 great-great grandchildren.
