He was predeceased by: his parents, George H. Nelson and Annie Mae Nelson; and his siblings, Susan James and George H. Nelson Jr. (James L. Nelson). He is survived by: his wife Faye Nelson; his children, Larry J. L. Nelson (Washington, DC) and Tamarra T. Nelson of Nolanville, TX; his grandson Kaydelle D. Nelson of Nolanville, TX; his former wife Diane Collins of Killeen, TX; and his stepson Dwayne A. Collins of Killeen, TX. He is also survived by other siblings, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins, friends.
