Michael Lee Cosper Obituary

Michael Lee Cosper passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on August 26 th , 2023.

He was born on November 20 th , 1959, the only son of Winford "Wimp" Cosper and Syble Cosper.

Besides working on the Family Ranch tending cattle, mending fences, and cutting cedar, he also worked for Toby Preston at Exon Wholesale Oil in Killeen, Texas delivering oil and gas. Michael also worked for Schwertner Capital Land and Livestock as a dispatcher. Later, he went to work for Roy Dale Liefesters exotic Ranch in Eden, Texas.

Michael is proceeded in death by his father Winford "Wimp" Cosper and mother Syble Cosper.

Michael is survived by his loving wife Marjorie Darlene Cosper. Two Stepsons Michael Snow of Andice, Texas, and Holden Barrett and wife Ashton of San Antonio, Texas and One Stepdaughter Payton Spiller of Killeen, Texas. Michael also leaves behind four Grandsons which he adored Shooter Snow of Andice, Texas, Kole and Karter Barrett of San Antonio, Texas, and Carson Spiller Thorne of Killeen, Texas. Michael also leaves behind numerous Uncles, Aunts, and cousins.

Services for Michael will be held on September 30 th , 2023 at the First Baptist Church Trimmer, 6405 Chaparral Road, Killeen, Texas.

There will be a short visitation starting at 10:00 am, Immediately following the service officiated by Brother Weldon Hicks, Followed by a luncheon. Then a burial service will be held at Live Oak Cemetery off Co. Road 2484.
