NATHANIEL CARTER Obituary
Retired SFC Nathaniel Carter was born on January 21, 1955. He received his wings to joyfully join with the angels before him, to became a “CITIZEN OF HEAVEN,” on Thursday, February 23, 2012.
Nathaniel enlisted in the United States Army and served his Country “Proudly” eventually retiring at the rank of Sergeant First Class and Veteran of the military. Nathaniel was a resident of Killeen, Texas. His parents, Pat Eva Carter and George Carter predeceased him. He had four siblings: an older brother, George Black, of South bend, Indiana (who preceded him) A sister, Mary Lee (Jimmy) Deberry of Jackson, Tennessee (who preceded him) and brothers, Sylvester Carter and Thomas (Martha) Carter, of Jackson Tennessee, who will continue to cherish his memories.
Additionally, to further cherish his memories are his two children: Sharmaine Carter and Nathan Carter both of Killeen, Texas; along with his Granddaughter, Nyrissia Carter.
He will be greatly missed by his Nieces, Nephews, and by everyone that knew and loved him. Knowingly, three of the remembrances and components that will be shared by many, pertaining to Nathaniel’s life, will be his Love For Family, Cooking, and Playing his Guitar. He was a marvelous Chef. He cooked and grilled for everyone. He enjoyed hosting and entertaining at his residence.
Nathaniel was buried at ST. John #2 Cemetery, in Denmark, Tennessee (the resting place of his precious Family Members).
