He was predeceased by: his parents, D. W. Lindsey and Nina Lindsey (Underwood); his stepmother Lorene Lindsey; his son Lowell Lindsey, Jr.; his siblings, Anna Joyce Lindsey, Tom Lindsey, Pete Lindsey, Russell Cowan, Gene Cowan and Lyndel Lindsey; his sisters-in-law, Brenda Jackson and Kathy Lindsey; and his parents-in-law, Melvin and Mary Gaddy.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Lindsey of Lampasas; his children, Terry Day (Karen) of Troy, TX, Rodrigo Garza of New Mexico, Rachel Vega of Mart, TX, Virginia Bunting (Shaun) of Lampasas and Kathy Welch of Lampasas; his stepchildren, Valorie Early and James Maraquin of Houston, TX; his siblings, Clyde Lindsey (Patsy) of Elk City, OK, Mary Hodge (Brad) of Lometa, TX, Drusilla Hunter (Dale) of Killeen, TX and Dorothy Coppin of Belton, TX; his sister-in-law Carol Lindsey of Arizona; and his close friend Fulton Goode. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
