We announce the death of Robert Arthur Hollinger of Killeen, Texas, who passed away on August 1, 2026, at the age of 76. Robert will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Charles Hollinger and Hazel Mae Taylor Hollinger; and his nephew Chuck Hollinger. He is survived by: his wife Sherry Gillmeister Gorden; his stepchildren, Jenny Holder (Jeremy Holder) and Jeremy Gorden (Laura Gorden); his grandchildren, Lenore Phy, Benjamin Gorden, Sean Gorden and Clara Gorden; his siblings, Charles Hollinger and Carolyn Evans; his nieces, Kris Renshaw, Roxanne Tichenor and Teresa Evans; and his nephew Connor Evans.

Memorials may be made to the building fund at Fortress Lutheran Church in Harker Heights or the charity of one's choice.
