He was predeceased by: his parents, George Cauthen and Grace Cauthen (Starnes); and his siblings, Floyd, Daniel Cauthen and Carol Frapier.
He is survived by: his wife Lillie Cauthen; his children, Ronald Wesley Cauthen Jr. (Lynn), Junior Hargett, Gloria Schultz, Valerie Dunn, Sarah Loftis and Frankie Garza; and his brother Tommy Cauthen. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
