She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Fuller Thompson and Ruby Kee Thompson; her brother Bob Thompson; and her sister-in-law Debbie Thompson. She is survived by: her husband Miguel Interiano of Killeen, Texas; her children, Laura Flowers (Chance Flowers) of Pflugerville, Texas and Lane Shaw of Dallas, Texas; her stepson Miguel Interiano of Killeen, Texas; her grandchildren, Jude Flowers and Quinn Flowers of Pflugerville, Texas.; and her pets, Mambo, Evie, Caleb, Poppy, Bella, Ace, Mav and Taz.

In lieu of flowers, Sandra requested that memorial donations be made to support animal shelters. In honor of her wishes, the family asks that donations be made to Texas Humane Heroes in Sandra's memory.
