Forest Jay Wright Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Forest Jay Wright of Kingwood, Texas, who passed away on March 10, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Forest Jay may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Forest Jay touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Forest Jeptha and Willie Ruth Wright; his wife Anna Wright; and his sister Betty. He is survived by: his siblings, Virginia Hollis of Port Lavaca and Robert Wright (Alice) of Pasadena. He is also survived by 4 step children, 7 step grandchildren and 5 step great grandchildren.

Donations in Jay's name can also be sent to the American Heart Association in lieu of flowers.
