He is survived by: his brothers, Bennie, Alex, Robert, Charles and Richard; his wife Linda Dumas Bernal; his brother Donald; his sons, Darryn (Kimberly), Steve and Eric (Erin); his stepchildren, John Dumas (Kristin) and Julie Dumas Blettner (Doug); his grandchildren, Nick Bernal (Megan), Samantha Bernal, Derek Bernal (Kaitlyn), Dara Bernal Macon (Jake), Danyelle Bernal, Darryn M. Bernal, Tanner Bernal, Sarah and Amanda Blettner; his great grandchildren, Thomas, Claire, Dayton, Brynn and Kamryn; and his sister-in-law Mary Sue Bernal. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
