He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Gilmer and Gloria Gilmer. He is survived by: his wife Maryann Gilmer; his daughter Anna Laurence; his son-in-law Andrew Laurence of Aurora, Illinois.; and his grandsons, Adam and Elijah.
