He is survived by: his wife Kathy (Kathy); his son Stephen Edward Schattner of Frisco; his grandchildren, Sophia Grace Schattner and Knox Prescott Schattner of Frisco; and his siblings, Elisabeth Schattner of Raleigh, Ralph Schattner (Dianne) of Cleveland, Karen of Longwood and Margaret Maguire (Michael) of Raleigh. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews and his many lifelong friends.
