We are sad to announce that, on March 20, 2026, at the age of 80, Beverly Smith of Kirbyville, Texas, born in Fresno, California passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Warren Carpenter and Elizabeth Edwards Carpenter; and her husband Jay J. Smith. She is survived by: her children, James Fleming of Utah, Ernest J. Smith (Selena) of Kirbyville, Texas and Gina Woods (Larry) of Kirbyville, Texas; her grandchildren, Kimberly Lockwood (Wes), Ashley Woods, Keely Odom (Jimmie) and Faith Fleming; and her great grandchild Jimmie Lynn Odom, III.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St Jude.
