He is survived by: his wife Betty Ann Harris; his children, Don Robert Harris (Jennifer), Forrest Alan Harris (Karen) and Lori Jill Groves (Gary); his grandchildren, Abby Winn (Wilson), Benjamin Groves, Reagan Harris, Zachary Groves, Jacob Harris and Brittany Gibson; and his great grandchildren, William Winn and Keaton Winn.

A graveside service was held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 9:45 AM to 10:00 AM at the Fort Sam Houston Cemetery (1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209).
