She was predeceased by: her parents, James Harvey and Sylvia Ester King (Staley); her husband John Edward Hicks; her children, Sylvia Ball, William Hicks and Lisa Strickler; and her great grandchild John David Hicks.
She is survived by: her daughter Tammi Springett (David) of Klondike; and her sisters, Jean Crawford of Washington, Arliene Long of Arlington and Millie Green of Whitesboro. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren.
